WYONG HORSE BUNDLE OFFERS $137 FEE TO RACE THREE HORSES

WYONG Race Club is launching an affordable new way to experience racehorse ownership.

The Wyong Horse Bundle, powered by MyRacehorse, will be officially unveiled at the club’s opening meeting of the 2026-27 racing season on Sunday.

A one-off early bird price of $137 presents an opportunity to obtain a micro share in three young horses (so far unraced) to be trained locally by Kim Waugh, Sara Ryan and Kristen Buchanan.

“This is the only cost you will bear for each share to cover all future expenses of the horses you own,” Wyong chief executive Greg Purcell tells ProvincialRacingNSW.

“We have done this to enable anyone who has always wanted to race a horse but could not never afford to do so to now be involved.

“Of course the Wyong Horse Bundle doesn’t preclude anyone who already has experienced racehorse ownership either.

“We welcome everyone who wants to be involved in joining Team Wyong.

“As an owner you will be part of the action both on and off the track, with trainer updates, stable tours, exclusive owner experiences, raceday invitations, and the opportunity to share in prizemoney and future sale proceeds in line with your ownership interest.

“Kim Waugh trains the rising three-year-old Sovereign Silence (Churchill – No Comment), who trialled twice earlier this year and won the latest at Wyong on April 24.

“Kim is a Group 1 winner, Sara won the Big Dance at Royal Randwick, and Kristen is a Group 2 winner.

“Kim trained Sovereign Silence’s dam No Comment, with whom she won races at Wyong and Canterbury, and has also been involved with some of her foals.

“Sara Ryan trains the Home Affairs filly, and Kristen Buchanan has the Spirit Of Boom filly, who are both rising two-year-olds.

“Whilst Sovereign Silence is currently spelling, the Home Affairs and Spirit Of Boom fillies will be paraded on Sunday between races.”

Wyong will launch the Wyong Horse Bundle in The Pavilion between 12.30pm and 4pm on Sunday, with places limited to the first 250 RSVP’s.
