NEW RACING MANAGER AT KEMBLA GRANGE

ILLAWARRA Turf Club has announced the appointment of a new Racing Manager as a result of the impending retirement of long-standing official Michael Craig.

Zane Campbell, who has 17 years experience as a raceday judge, joined the ITC today under the watch of Craig, who will finish up by the end of the financial year.

Craig has professionally led the racing department for more than 25 years and will help to transition Campbell into the position.

ITC chief executive Steve Keene said it was a great way to secure a seamless handover for a crucial role at the club.

“The ITC welcomes Zane and looks forward to this new chapter for the club,” Keene said.

“Zane’s enthusiasm for the role and his racing knowledge will ensure the racing department at Kembla Grange continues to operate smoothly.

“The handover between Michael and Zane is testament to Michael’s dedication to the club and a solid indication for the future."
