GOSFORD’S GOLDEN MOMENT PROMOTION AT THE COAST MEETING

IT could be a “Golden Moment” indeed for one lucky racegoer at Gosford on Saturday.

The Entertainment Grounds has a huge promotion for its annual metropolitan stand-alone meeting, which features three Listed races – the $500,000 The Coast (1600m) for three and four-year-olds, $300,000 Big Dance Eligibility Gosford Gold Cup (2100m), and $250,000 Takeover Target Stakes (1200m).

Gosford Race Club chief executive Daniel Lacey has outlined details of the Golden Moment, which offers one racegoer the chance to take home either $100,000 cash or two brand new vehicles from Central Coast Motor Group.

“The promotion began at two earlier race meetings at Gosford, and further entries will be taken on Saturday,” Lacey said today.

“Racegoers have to scan the QR code onsite, and complete the entry form to go into the live draw.

“Entries will close at 1.30pm, and you must be on course on Saturday and contactable if your entry is drawn out.”

The club will randomly draw 10 entries, and those racegoers will then have the opportunity to select one of 10 trophies.

“The racegoer who selects the correct trophy then progresses to the next stage,” Lacey said.

“There will be 20 horseshoes, and one of them will have $100,000.

“If the last person standing chooses that horseshoe, he or she will have the choice of taking home $100,000 cash or two new vehicles from Central Coast Motor Group.

“This will take place later in the afternoon after the running of The Coast.

“Even if the person doesn’t choose the lucky horseshoe, they won’t go home empty-handed and will receive some nice prizes, including a weekend away in the Hunter Valley.”
