NEWCASTLE Jockey Club has launched “The Hunter Club”.
The NJC has tagged the exclusive club as “an exciting new opportunity for local businesses to form a prestigious partnership with them.
The Hunter Club is open to a select network of 20 businesses each year, and provides organisations who join an opportunity to win naming rights to a host of races held throughout the year.
“With more than 40 race meetings held at Newcastle racecourse each year (including 21 Saturdays), this makes Newcastle Jockey Club the most active provincial race club in New South Wales,” said CEO Duane Dowell.
“Given the scope of opportunities these races provide for local businesses to be involved in the racecourse along with the valuable impact these networks have on our community, we have established The Hunter Club in addition to our existing race day, race name and charity fund-raising sponsorship options.
“There are some incredible rewards on offer that businesses could find themselves receiving simply by becoming a member of The Hunter Club.
“Such as winning naming rights to the $250,000 Group 3 Cameron Handicap or $250,000 Group 3 Tibbie Stakes (at the spring carnival in September), to name just two incentives on offer.”
Hunter Club members will enjoy a host of benefits that far extend beyond that involvement in a race day, including VIP treatment with pre-release access to major events like the spring carnival and “The Hunter” race day in November, brand visibility and exposure through pre-race day marketing and on-course advertising and promotion to Newcastle Racecourse’s expansive existing members, community and corporate network.
There is an inaugural membership fee of $9000 plus GST, with inclusions in the package valued at more than $15,000.
